A few words about the class...
As a department ofan urban teaching hospital, our research is founded upon the principle of maximizing our available resources. In diagnostics, alongside in-depth clinical observation (analyzing phenomenological and Leonhardian psychopathology in light of the dominant DSM-ICD systems), we conduct detailed neuropsychological cognitive mapping and neurophenomenological (self-agency and time-experience) examinations. We continuously enhance our analyses using electro- and neurophysiological tools (EEG, eye-tracking, actigraphy).
In the realm of therapies, our primary areas of development are metabolic psychiatric interventions (fasting, ketogenic diet, supervised physical exercise) and non-invasive device-based interventions (bio- and neurofeedback procedures). The focus of our research activity is prevention, primarily aimed at averting the development of severe mental syndromes.
